Candidate 2 Voter Communications (C2V)

Vanessa Ferguson has experience on local, state, and federal campaigns.  She has worked with individuals running for the Michigan House of Representatives all the
way up to Congress.

Her experience working in media, public relations, and in fund raising gives her necessary tools needed to make a campaign successful.  She also has over 8 years’ experience working in Lansing.

Besides her professional experience, Vanessa holds master's degrees in communication from Michigan State University and public administration from Eastern Michigan University and a bachelor's degree in mass media with a minor in political science from the University of Michigan-Flint.  

Candidate 2 Voter Communications was started in 2006 after she spent the 2000, 2002, and 2004 election cycles working on various campaigns.  

During the 2006, 2008, and 2010 elections, she worked with State Senate and House candidates along with individuals running for University Regent and County Commission.  She has also done work with statewide political organizations and local county parties.   In addition, she has hosted training sessions for candidates in the Genesee County area.

She serves on the executive committees of several political women's groups and is an active volunteer in her community.

 
Vanessa is a member of the National Communication Association and the Pi Alpha Alpha Honor Society for Public Administration and has experience working as public speaking instructor at the college level.
